Book Launch – Follow Your Gut

Ben Hutchings, Canberra’s prodigal son, can’t stop making drawings and telling stories. He’s designed coins. He’s drawn funny pictures on coasters and bus tickets. He’s animated video games. He’s made comics, so many comics. He’s been a living artwork at the National Gallery of Victoria (where he created the beautiful Walking To Japan.) He co-founded Melbourne’s Squishface Studio. He’s illustrated many books and comics, including the award winning story of the development of germ theory during World War 1 – The Invisible War: A Tale on Two Scales. And now he’s provided the visuals for another medical story – Follow Your Gut: A Story From the Microbes That Make You. We will have a special guest from the medical profession on hand to help you understand what an achievement Ben has made bringing this microscopic world to life.
